11 个月We should do a volume 2 with the 1-10 questions about disability inclusion example: 1. disability is not a bad word. Don’t correct us if we say we are disabled 2. check your implicit bias and ableism, do it even if you are disabled yourself 3. we don’t need your pity/prayers/paternalism/ableism 4. always ask before helping a disabled person 5. never touch an assistive device or support animal without permission. 6. don’t shout at us or infantilize us when we don’t understand/hear you 7. that we don’t talk does not mean we don’t understand 8. that we don’t look you in the eye does not mean we don’t listen or care about what you say 9. our fidgeting is not something against you. It helps us be more present, and listen better to what you are saying. Please don’t call it out in front of everyone to make us feel bad or ridicule us 10. dont make disability inclusion about you, even if you are disabled, it us about us, with us. And I’m sure we can make it to 100 these are just the ones at the top of my head ??
