Access your Mind's Power
First of all what is mind? Mind and brain are two different things. Brain is a physical structure which controls various functions of the body whereas mind is responsible for thoughts and feelings at conscious and subconscious level. Study of mind is a science and has been an interest area for researchers in the area of psychology. There are variety of ways to study mind and behaviour.
In a research, brain stimulation was studied where stimulation to a negative thought was denoted by red dots and stimulation to a positive thought with blue dots. And it was seen that the red dots multiplied much faster than the blue dots and blue dots had to fight with red dots to make its place. Recent studies have shown that our brain reacts to a negative thought faster than the positive one.
Our body has 3.6 billion neurons that is 3.6 billion cells under your command. Our thoughts and our body has a direct connection. Whatever you think or feel, your body responds to it. When you want to stay highly active for a party after your office no matter how tired you are, you do. You manage to stay awake the whole night before your exam no matter how sleepy you are at 11 pm on other days. Studies have proved time and again how our mind and body are connected to each other.
My friend, retired Brigadier, Mr. Arun Gupta at age 62, went through a regular health check up and was diagnosed with diabetes. Although both his parents were diabetic and his siblings were also diagnosed in their 30’s and 40’s but he was determined that he will live a fit life and no disease can bother him or his lifestyle. He used to follow an exercise routine. However, after being tested he did not accepted it instead he increased his workout. After a year he was tested again and the results showed as if he never had diabetes in his body at all.
Another case of my client, a business owner from Madhya Pradesh. He was suffering from diabetes since his early 30’s but has been overlooking his health since years. However, lockdown came as a blessing and helped him focus on his health and take control of it. He reduced approx. 15 kgs of weight and fought his diabetes also. Now he lives a disease free life.
