On the ground: Building a brighter future: How Kosovo is tackling mounting NCD burden
A World Bank study, supported by Access Accelerated, sheds light on Kosovo's public health landscape, revealing that NCDs claimed nearly 80% of lives in 2019,?with over 20% of deaths occurring among young adults (20-29 years old).? The study represents "one of the first comprehensive pieces of evidence on NCDs in Kosovo", offering valuable insights and actionable recommendations for policymakers?to proactively address NCDs, safeguard its population's health, and pave the way for a brighter future.
Global dialogue: WHO meeting sets tone for global health and NCDs in 2024

New report: Bridging the gap: Financing for UHC and NCDs
Millions of people in low- and middle-income countries lack access to life-saving care for NCDs.
