Today we are excited to shine a light on Lloyd Evans , our Partnerships, Industry & Solutions Lead, whose passion has made a significant impact on our team and customers.
Thank you to Lloyd for sitting down to chat with us. ??
How long have you been with the The Access Group?
I have been with Access Care Management for just over 10 years, including continuing service from the iCareHealth acquisition back in 2018.
What was the last movie you watched?
I watched ‘Conan The Barbarian’ at 5am in the morning with my 4-month-old. It wasn’t really Jason Momoa's best work to be honest.
What were your hobbies when you were younger?
Being a Welshman, I played rugby from almost as soon as I could walk. Playing for my school, local, club, county, district, and Wasps Academy. ??
What was your dream job when you were a child?
For most of my childhood, my dream job was to be a pirate!?????
What is your favourite memory of working with Access?
领英推荐
My favourite memory working with Access was my time last year doing the Big Walk for Magic Breakfast , where together with other 17 Access employees, we walked coast to coast across Hadrian's wall. ????♂?????♀?
What are you not particularly good at, but would like to improve on in the future?
I am the most impatient man in the entire world, if I want something I want it now and I can at times put other under pressure because I am frustrated at having to wait for something. Becoming a father has helped with this. ??
What has been your highlight of the last month's work?
Actually, a couple of weeks ago we were in the Loughborough office with a client, who wanted to use one of our tools in a slightly different way and we did an in-person workshop to assess if it would work. The client was really engaged, and we came away having solved the problem. The only issue was the office’s wall was covered in sticky notes and scribbles in whiteboard pen! ????
What would you like to see change in your industry in the next five years?
The industry I work in is in the infancy of embracing technology, with not all providers even using basic patient management systems. I would like to see the sector digitally transformed, but in the right way with interoperability and access to data at the start of the discussion. ??
Is there any part of your experience with Access or generally in your career that you would like to highlight?
I have always loved working in this sector as at the bottom of everything we do is a vulnerable individual and the harder we work the better the outcome for this individual. In my time at Access, I have enjoyed working in New Business and was very successful and resulting into achieving presidents club! However, my pre-sales role allows me now to impart my knowledge and experience onto our new starters and younger team members. I am proud of how they are getting started in the sector and are enthusiastic to help change the sector for the better.
