Access Group Expands Operations into Middle-East

As part of the Access Group’s international expansion strategy, the company will commence operations in the Middle East region in FY18. Access Group Middle East will invest in a fleet of over 5,000 machines valued at over USD $500 million to deliver its integrated products and services to major projects in the construction and maintenance sector.

Access Group Middle East’s operating entity, Access Hire Middle East LLC will specialize in the delivery of both Genie and JLG elevating work platforms as well as industry-leading JCB materials handling equipment. In addition to hire, servicing, and transport, Access Hire Middle East LLC will be engaged in the sale of new capital equipment for a variety of industries including the construction, commissioning, and operational phases of major oil & gas projects.

Access Hire Middle East LLC is closely modeled after its Australian counterpart, Access Hire Australia – the Access Group’s primary operating entity in Australia. Access Hire Australia is the largest privately owned and most successful hire specialist in the country and leads the market in the delivery of premier plant and equipment throughout 12 regional and metropolitan bases.

Manufactured under licence, Access Hire Middle East LLC will also supply power generators, air compressors, lighting towers, and forklifts through its brand, Global Power and Air. The fleet also includes hurricane boosters, desiccant dryers, and nitrogen membranes for both on-shore and off-shore projects. These products have been developed for remote operations, specifically capable of operating in extreme conditions often found in the Middle East.

Tested and operated in the harshest, most remote areas (including Western Australia’s Northwest and the Northern Territory), Access Hire and Global Power & Air equipment has a proven track record, having achieved the industry’s lowest frequency of breakdowns as well as industry best returns on investment and resale return. Global Power & Air generators, compressors, and materials handling equipment can also be supplied to complying with strict industry flame proof guidelines.

Whilst Access Hire is traditionally engaged for its supply of premier equipment, its capabilities also extend to the management of on-site servicing, repairs, and breakdowns – including telematic technology plant tracking – maximizing output efficiency and ensuring all equipment delivers to the overall project’s productivity.

The growth of the Access Group and Access Hire into a new international market will facilitate access to large scale developments in the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar – allowing us to expand our footprint and further increase our reach.
