Accepting Submissions: Project GirlSpire Short Story Anthology

Project GirlSpire is creating a short story anthology in ebook form, where various female writers tell a fictional short story of a girl overcoming adversary, and instead of being save by a "knight in shining armor", finds a way to save herself. GirlSpire: Stories to Inspire a Girl. We want these stories to let girls know that they aren’t alone, and that, it does get better!

So, we're looking for the best female writers to submit a story with the theme of female empowerment, and no more than 2,500- 5,000 words. All stories should be Young Adult or New Adult, but can be dark and ominous, humorous, or even fantastical; you decide. Stories should be submitted in standard manuscript format as a Microsoft word document. Send the story as an email attachment (stories sent in the body of the email will not be considered). All stories must be unpublished. Although, this is an unpaid endeavor, this is for a great cause, an great way to be published, and a great way to get reviews and press.
