7. Product properties and characteristics: Product appearance: white powder. Soluble in 1% sodium hydroxide, carbon disulfide, benzene, and chloroform, slightly soluble in alcohol, and insoluble in gasoline.

Vulcanization speed: Dithiocarbamate accelerator is fast, vulcanization speed is faster than that of thiuram, belongs to super speed accelerator, induction period is very short, suitable for room temperature vulcanization and vulcanization of latex products, also can be used for the vulcanization of low unsaturated rubber such as IIR, EPDM. -ZDEC can be used with amine accelerators to greatly increase the vulcanisation speed. Generally with water-soluble accelerators (such as ammonium or sodium salts of dithiocarbamic acid) or with other water-insoluble accelerators (such as other zinc salts of dithiocarbamic acid) and used to improve the vulcanisation speed.?

III. Product application

10. Properties and applications: ZDEC is a super accelerator for natural rubber and various synthetic rubbers, a representative variety of zinc dithiocarbamate, and also a general accelerator for latex. It is non-polluting, non-discolouring, odourless, tasteless and non-toxic. The alkaline accelerator has an activating effect on it and has good dispersion, which can improve the tensile strength and elasticity of vulcanised rubber. Good dispersion in rubber can improve the tensile strength and elasticity of vulcanised rubber. An antioxidant should be added to NR and IR to improve heat resistance. It can also be used as an antioxidant for bonding systems. The addition of a small amount of accelerator TMTD, DM, anti-coking agent or antioxidant MB to adhesives containing accelerator EZ improves the storage properties of the adhesive and delays the start of vulcanisation. The accelerator EZ needs to be activated with zinc oxide, but the addition of a small amount of fatty acid improves the mechanical properties of the vulcanised rubber. It should be noted that the reaction of ZDEC with diethylamine produces a decomposition product, N-nitrosodiethylamine, which contains nitrosated substances (nitrogen oxides). ZDEC is a good active agent for thiazole and hyposulphonamide accelerators. It has a strong activating effect on butyl rubber containing accelerators M, TMTD or both M and TMTD, and can be used for EPDM rubber, but the activating effect is not as strong as for butyl rubber. It is also used as a non-water soluble accelerator for latexes and has little effect on the stability of latexes. When used as a second accelerator of thiazole accelerators in latex, the resulting products have good ageing properties.

This product is suitable for white and bright-coloured products and transparent products. It is mainly used in the manufacture of medical products, adhesive tapes and self-vulcanising products.

11.?Product Applications: Latex products, butyl inner tubes, rubber rollers, wires and cables, seals, oil seals, etc.?

12. Product dosage: When ZDEC is used as the main accelerator in NR emulsions, a good ratio is 1 part ZDEC to 2.5 parts sulphur. In NR or SBR-based foam applications, a good ratio is 1.5 parts ZDEC, 1 part ZMBT and 2.5 parts sulphur. In NR and SBR, ZDEC can often be used with thiazole and hyposulphonamide accelerators at a dosage of between 0.1 and 0.4 parts. In EPDM rubber applications, ZDEC is often combined with other dithiocarbamate accelerators to keep frosting to a minimum, depending on the specific application. The above amounts are for reference only and can be added and the amount added after testing according to the product and formulation.?

Packaging and storage: 25kg/bag in kraft paper bags, storage period 24 months. It should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Avoid overlapping between pallets and avoid direct sunlight on packed products. Overlapping piles or temperatures above 35°C may cause abnormal compression of the product.
