Accelerate Your SSD With Solidigm Synergy? Software
When Link sets out on an adventure at the beginning of Nintendo’s 1986 classic, The Legend of Zelda, he encounters an old man in a cave. This nameless benefactor gives Link a sword and utters the phrase that has gone down as one of the most enduring in all of gaming lore: “It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.”
Over the course of the game, Link uses the sword to defeat countless enemies along his quest to defeat the big baddie, Ganon, and rescue Princess Zelda.
Could Link have assembled the Triforce of Wisdom and laid siege to Ganon’s dungeon without the sword, relying solely on the might of his tiny, pixelated fists? Perhaps. (He is, after all, the Hero of Legend.)
But the hermit knows something Link doesn’t at the outset: It will be far more efficient – not to mention fun – to do it with the right tool, made to augment his natural abilities and enhance his experience.
At Solidigm, we have studied Link’s journey, and we dutifully strive to apply his learnings to our business.
Case in point: Last week, we launched version 2.0 of our Solidigm Synergy? software, a set of tools designed to build upon our highly capable SSDs and unlock new levels of PC user experience.
Our software suite is composed of two pieces, both completely free and optional (though highly recommended):
Could you complete your journey without it? Yes. (In fact, we believe our SSDs deliver a superior user experience regardless.) But do we recommend doing that? No way.
For one thing, if you have a Solidigm SSD in your system, it’s free performance – just install Solidigm Synergy and it goes to work in the background, invisibly tuning your system. For instance:
For another thing, whether you have a Solidigm drive or not, the toolkit offers a robust set of tools and features to give you more information about, and control over, your storage in an intuitive, easy-to-use interface.
