ACCA THROUGH FIA ROUTE- A World of New Opportunities

ACCA is the association of Chartered Certified Accountants; it is the global body for Chartered Accountancy in more than 170 countries. As a chartered certified accountant, the opportunities are endless. There are various routes to go for the ACCA program, but the fastest route is the FIA.

What is the FIA?

The FIA stands for Foundations in Accountancy which allows a student to start his ACCA journey right after he passes Class X. What this does is that it allows that extra time to the student where he can stay ahead of his peers in these times of extreme competition. A very old saying is that the earlier you start the higher you reach.?

While the same subjects are taught in FIA program as in case of Foundations Level of ACCA the only difference being that you don’t need to pass class XII to be eligible for this program.

In hindsight if a student starts ACCA right after class X then they will be able to complete the FIA by the time they finish with class XII and earn certificates which make them employable. The time saved by a student allows them to climb up the corporate ladder faster.?

Fresher salaries of an ACCA pass out are as high as INR 6 lacs per annum (India) and INR 40 lacs per annum (international). After completion of ACCA you become an Affiliate member whereas after 3 years of rigorous training into accounts, audit, finance you become an ACCA Member. The Salaries of an ACCA Member in India are INR 10 lacs per annum (India) and INR 60 lacs per annum (International).
