On January 12th, the "Academic Salon on Molecular Diagnosis Advances in Thyroid Cancer and the 55th Medical Perspective Cloud Classroom," hosted by Xiamen?Spacegen?Co.,Ltd., was successfully held in Shenzhen. Professor Feng Duo, in his speech, pointed out that in the current widespread promotion of the concept of "precision medicine," exploring how to achieve and optimize precise treatment strategies for thyroid cancer is an ongoing topic in the field. He hopes that this salon exchange can enhance clinical doctors' understanding of molecular diagnosis of thyroid cancer and promote clinical research in thyroid molecular diagnosis.

In his address, Professor Liu Hongguang expressed that in recent years, the incidence of thyroid cancer has continued to rise, and the mortality rate has also slightly increased. This has attracted attention in the academic community towards the standardization and treatment of thyroid cancer. Professor Wang Youquan gave a wonderful presentation on the "Clinical Value of Thyroid Cancer Gene Testing." He mentioned that currently, multiple guidelines and expert consensus emphasize that distinguishing between the benign and malignant nature of thyroid nodules is a key focus in clinical assessment and treatment. Preoperative identification of the nature of thyroid nodules can provide a basis for individualized and precise treatment of thyroid diseases. Professor Wu Xiaoqin conducted a case sharing session on thyroid cancer. In the sharing, Professor Wu Xiaoqin emphasized the significant role of genetic testing for thyroid cancer in preoperative diagnosis, guidance for surgical procedure selection, and clinical treatment guidance.
