It was very special to see thoughts from my 2022 book about academic literacies cited in a literature review which underpins enhancements to students' academic experience. My thoughts about academic literacies and wellbeing relate to international students. The literature review (expertly written) takes a broad angle and considers the university-wide student community. Citations in academia are particularly meaningful when they underpin actual pedagogic initiatives and help connect colleagues who share the same values in relation to students' academic, professional and personal success.
