The economy and industry would be nothing without research. Right?
At least that’s the view of the German Hydrogen Association ( Deutscher Wasserstoff-Verband (DWV) e.V. ). It’s why the DWV is again awarding the INNOVATION PRIZE for academic excellence in Hydrogen. The application window closes on April 15, 2024, with the award due to be presented on October 9, 2024. Eligible to enter are those with academic dissertations or theses (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph.D.) from a German university from 2023 that have been awarded the top grade.
The winners will receive EUR 1,000 in prize money. Not only that, they will also enjoy free membership of the DWV for a year – a career boost that will enable them to rub shoulders with many of the industry’s movers and shakers!
As the association’s Vice President, I’m especially delighted about the high-profile jury which will continue Dr. Johannes T?pler ’s work at the DWV in the area of education: Walter Czarnetzki ( Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences ), Alexander Dyck ( DLR-Institut für Vernetzte Energiesysteme ), Helmut Eichert ( Wests?chsische Hochschule Zwickau ), Dr. Felix Heubner ( Fraunhofer IFAM ), Dr. Bettina Hübschen ( Saarl?ndische Wasserstoff Agentur ), Prof. Dr. Karsten Pinkwart ( Fraunhofer ICT ), Prof. Dr. Sven Schmitz ( DHBW Mannheim ) and Prof.Dr.-Ing.Thomas von Unwerth ( Technische Universit?t Chemnitz ).
