Abyom: A Revolutionary Startup in India’s Space Industry
Abyom Space Tech and Defense are transforming India’s space industry and protecting the planet from space debris. They’re using reusable rockets, which could reduce the cost of space missions because space agencies wouldn’t have to build new rockets every time, and Abyom is working on landing mechanisms for the launch vehicles. In 2021, Jainul Abedin established Abyom space tech under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs of the Government of India. Its headquarters is located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Abyom also provides a research training program for students and researchers interested in working on various research projects and activities with highly trained mentors. The company offers a variety of services such as research and development, space education and exploration, product design and manufacturing in countries such as India, North America, Europe, and South America. The Abyom Team competed in Toyotathon 2021, which was organized by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell under the project name AeroToy, and was one of the finalized teams.
