Welcome to the?fourth edition?of 'Touching Eternity - Thought Experiments for a life well lived.'

In this edition, having safely set sail on the seas of 2023, I'm exploring 'abundance'.

What you'll discover, is that abundance is a universal truth that scarcity tries to hide, and that everything you will ever need is already, and always, right where you are, even when you think it's not!

As I explored and experiment with the insight of abundance, I came to realise that what matters most is not the resources themselves, but how you use them, and it is in that creative curiosity that true abundance lies.

So in this edition of Touching Eternity we stop looking for what’s not, because you’ll never find it! And in any case that’s not abundance, that’s absence!

In the 'Conscious Stimulus' video you'll discover that you're always in exactly the right place. The perfect place in fact, from which to take the next right step toward the life you'd love to live.

And the 'Subconscious Stimulus' guided reflection, you get to weave in amongst the infinite space, out of which the pure potential of abundance arises. It's a magical journey.

As you may know, the purpose of 'Touching Eternity' is to help as many people as possible enjoy a more deeply conscious and rewarding life well lived. It is truly extraordinary what we human beings are capable of achieving when we live our lives from that emancipating place.

Already Where You Are

Abundant possibilities surround each and every one of us… all of the time!

No matter what the conditions, or the circumstances we find ourselves in, all of the resources we need are abundantly available right now!!

Because everything you need… is already where you are!!!

Everything You Need.

Everything we need is already where we are... right now.

What an incredible thought.?

The Universe is abundant. Nature is abundant. Growth and renewal, potential and possibility are plentiful, and everything we need for a life well lived, lives within and around us all of the time.

No matter what the conditions, or the circumstances we find ourselves in, all of the resources we need are abundantly available right now!

When you pause to reflect on this, as I have done many times, it means (if you allow it to), that you’re always exactly where you need to be on your journey toward the life you would love to live.

And the most beautiful thing about abundance, is that you don’t need any special skills or rare capabilities to access all the resources it points toward.

So in this thought experiment I want to share what I see as a key that unlocks the treasure trove of abundance.

But first I want to clear away the barren soil that too often turns to dust the dreams we seek to grow... scarcity.

From our 'red in tooth and claw' roots on the Savannah to the manufactured need of materialistic greed, this antonym of abundance has been hardwired in our primal brain.

So by default, we now believe there’s never enough to satisfy our cravings.

And of course there never can be, because craving’s appetite grows with what it feeds on, as Shakespeare nearly said!

When the question posed is solving for ‘more’, then there can never be enough!

What scarcity does is have you place your awareness on what isn’t. Which is crazy right? The first thing we do when we think about what we want, is to bring to mind what we haven’t got!

As a result, all of the energy that would otherwise flow through fields of verdant abundance, is poured into the sterile vacuum of what isn’t.

But when you lift up your eyes from that empty well, there before you, ripe and lush, opulent abundance catches the light of your brightest ambitions.

Abundance is the natural truth that scarcity seeks to blind us to.

It’s the perspective from which you see, what everything is, and what anything it can be.

What makes the resources you have so beneficent, is not what they are but what you do with them.

They are the tools - they may not be the tools you thought you wanted - but they are the tools you’ve got. And success is arbitrated not by what tools you have, but by how you use them.

Accept that, and they become the tools you need.

So, stop looking for what’s not there, you’ll never find it! That’s not abundance… that’s absence!

And then in that shining moment of acceptance, you are in abundance as abundance, from which all your worldly needs seed.

The Pure Potential of Abundance.

As you experience the guided reflection below, let got of trying to make?conscious meaning of the words you'll hear. Simply find a comfortable place where you won't be disturbed for 10 minutes, and allow yourself?to float into the space between the words that you will here. Let go of what you make things mean, and allow what's underneath to become the scene.

The Pure Potential of Abundance.

There is an edge, a layer, beyond which senses cease to see, and you stand there now with me.

?

So, let’s journey together, through the ‘material surface’ of the finite world to explore the limitless source that lies beneath.

?

The pure potential of abundance, of which everything we are, and everything we experience, is made.

?

First (in your imagining), allow your awareness to land on the man-made meaning of things… and skim across their superficial surface layer skins.

?

Notice each one. Not as itself, but as something made manifest… something that arrived in your awareness fully formed, and full of meaning.

?

See these seeming somethings as ‘ideas’, ‘concepts’ that codify your experience of the world into meaningful, manageable bits.

?

And notice too how this codifying, cages creativity, as senses make sense of the ‘material’ - that makes your material world - materialize.

?

So, see with new eyes… this collage of concepts. Like paintings sketched in outlines only… the true colours are not yet there.

?

?They draw in duotone,

charcoal pictures,

that leave unknown,

abundant possibilities.

?

And beneath the seeming surface

pure potential will reveal,

what the material world,

in concept forms… conceal.

?

Finesse your awareness. Un-define the indistinct. Separate seeming similarities, and let this abundance of unrealised potential, in painted perfect light, shine through, luminous and bright.

?

And being here now, notice the edge of everything evaporate… reflecting itself into a mirage.

?

Dusk becomes dawn. Sea and sky disappear into each other’s hue, leaving you, beyond time, beyond space, beyond concepts forms… you are in the underneath, formless and free

?

You are in abundance as abundance… from which all your worldly needs, seed.

?

You are stillness moving. The dark light shining. Every thought and feeling… and every any-thing.

?

You are the infinite end of eternity, distilled into pure consciousness… the stem cell of the created world.?

?

And from here you can see, that up there among the outcomes, as real as things seem, they are shadow-play-light-beams, dancing life into morning’s dawning mist. The seeming surface of your moment by moment manifesting world.

?

They are the beguiling beauty of dawn before the day. The merest blush of light before the sun takes flight.?

Before the becoming becomes, abundance waits for awakened awareness to let it shine!

?

It is time to wake up.
