Abundance Mindset in Action
Amy Evans is fast becoming the health insurance "it" girl on social media channels. She's working to share meaningful content and to do it consistently. She isn't doing it just to prospect for groups, though. She is determined to help us all leverage social media to improve sales and service.
Evans is working in the community to give us those #InsuranceInspired moments that elevate our entire industry and she is challenging all agents to find their voice online.
"As a broker, my primary focus is on my clients. As I watched what was happening with health care reform at the federal and state levels, it became important for me to better understand the legislative process so I could be a source of information for my clients. I realized that most agents aren't informed about the legislative process, let alone involved, and involvement is so important to the future of our industry. So I traveled with LAAHU to Sacramento and Washington D.C. and started posting more educational pieces on social media.
"Getting involved in social media is such a valuable way to be informed up to the minute. It's about finding and following the people that are thought leaders, I think @MichaelLujan is a great example."
"If people want to know where the cutting edge information is in health insurance... social media, that's where to find it. I encourage people to take it further though, to find their own unique perspective to share and to contribute their own voice to the conversation."
Evans has been working with emerging insurance professionals to help them find their footing online and to get a grasp on current legislation. If you're interested in learning more about Evans you can check out her thoughtful blog posts or connect with her on LinkedIn.
If there is more for us to learn about you, please message me. I'm looking for other industry professionals that want to share their knowledge and insight for the benefit of our community. Either way, keep checking back. you'll get to enjoy this spotlight on #InsuranceInspired each Friday.
