CorrActions: Revolutionary brain activity monitoring that saves lives

Every year, more than one million road fatalities are caused by drunk, tired or distracted drivers. To help prevent these deadly accidents, drivers need to be checked for dangerous intoxication levels and monitored for any developing signs of trouble. The AI/ML-powered software from Israeli startup CorrActions does just that. It enables real-time, highly accurate, and actionable reading of brain activity based on motion data collected by sensors already installed in vehicles, including the steering wheel, driver and passenger seat sensors, and touch screens. With its platform’s performance validated on more than 10,000 driving hours, the company is already working with OEMs and Tier-1s including Hyundai, Volkswagen and Volvo, producing excellent results in extensive PoCs and pilots. Nurtured at the Labs02 incubator, CorrActions is currently raising its Series A round led by Volvo Cars Tech Fund.

Abu Dhabi Investment Office welcomes Israeli companies?

The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) says it “is still on a high from the success ” of the OurCrowd Global Investment Summit in February. ADIO “led a delegation of 10 leading Abu Dhabi entities to Israel, where they unveiled the potential and investment prospects” in Abu Dhabi. “What we are here to do is to create opportunities for the Israeli businesses that are looking to expand beyond Israel and access markets that were potentially not available to them prior to the Abraham Accords to do that through the Abu Dhabi platform,” Eng. CropX integrates with Talgil irrigation systems

Our portfolio company CropX is integrating its agronomic farm management platform with precision irrigation controllers from Talgil, used by customers in over 80 countries. The digital connection will allow CropX users to access and manage their Talgil controllers for remote irrigation applications. “Integrating CropX's decision support system with Talgil Computing & Control irrigation control systems leads to precise and efficient use of water resources, cost savings and improved sustainability. It empowers farmers with real-time data and predictive analytics to make informed decisions about when and how much to irrigate, optimizing crop yields and mitigating environmental impact,” says Yosee Ochman, Deputy General Manager at Talgil. Kinder Morgan picks Xage for critical infrastructure cybersecurity?

Kinder Morgan (NYSE: KMI), one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America, has selected Xage Security to bolster its cybersecurity protection. Kinder Morgan operates or has an interest in some 82,000 miles of pipelines that transport 40% of the natural gas in the US, as well as 140 terminals that store and handle renewable fuels, petroleum products, vegetable oils and other materials. “We rely on solutions that Xage Security provides to protect and secure our critical infrastructure,” says Mark Huse, Chief Information Officer at Kinder Morgan. “Xage provided us with an innovative approach to cyber harden operational technology and IT infrastructure, as well as help us meet regulatory requirements.”

FDA clears TytoCare’s AI-powered lung sound analysis

The FDA cleared the AI-powered Tyto Insights for Wheeze Detection from Qure portfolio company TytoCare . The software, which received a European CE mark in 2022, uses TytoCare's stethoscope to evaluate lung sounds and identify recordings that suggest wheezing in adults and children. “Our Tyto Insight capabilities, including our wheeze detection algorithm, furthers our goal of enhancing the virtual care experience for all patients, clinicians, providers and health plans – not just by increasing the quality of care and expanding our chronic care management capabilities, but also by further assisting clinicians and specialists to make informed and accurate diagnoses remotely,” says Dedi Gilad, CEO and Co-founder of TytoCare.

Hitachi Solutions to sell Stellar Cyber’s XDR platform in Japan?

Hitachi Solutions, part of the Hitachi Group, will offer the open extended detection and response (XDR) cybersecurity platform from our portfolio company Stellar Cyber to its Japanese customers. Stellar Cyber’s Open XDR platform significantly reduces security risks by providing a comprehensive view of the entire network and computing infrastructure that reveals even the most complex attacks. “Stellar Cyber, a leader in Open XDR, has outstanding correlation analysis and automated response functions. UK’s Noda adopts ThetaRay’s AML platform

UK-based payment FinTech Noda is adopting the anti-money laundering (AML) platform from our portfolio company ThetaRay to enhance its financial threat protection. Noda works with merchants to receive direct payments from online customers, and is currently integrated with over 300 banks in most European countries. “With ThetaRay's advanced transaction monitoring system and our expertise in payment services and compliance, we are poised to take our business to the next level and provide even more value to our customers,” says Lasma Gavarane, Chief Compliance Officer/MLRO at Noda.?

Japan's Marubeni turns to ?nsect for bug-based fish feed?

Japanese conglomerate Marubeni signed an agreement with our portfolio company ?nsect to provide insect-based fish feed, Nikkei Asia reports . Japan’s fish farmers are looking for alternatives to traditional feed, whose price has jumped 32% over the past year due to rising ingredient costs and the weak yen. ?nsect will develop a mealworm larvae-based feed suited to fish commonly farmed in Japan, such as sea bream and yellowtail.?
