ABS INBOX DESICCANTS
India is the world's largest producer and exporter of handmade carpets in terms of value and volume. Around 75-85% of carpets manufactured in India are exported. India accounts for around 40% of worldwide export of handmade carpets. Export of carpets from India stood at US$ 1.37 billion in 2019-20.
The Indian leather industry accounts for around 12.93% of the world’s leather production of hides/skins. India’s leather industry has grown drastically, transforming from a mere raw material supplier to a value-added product exporter.Total leather goods exports from India stood at US$ 4.64 billion in 2019-20.
Just two segments of our export industry earn our country valuable foreign exchange and contribute significantly towards making India self-reliant(Atma-Nirbhar) but the common problem faced by our exporter friends is the same- EXCESS MOISTURE.
RUST, FUNGUS, MOLD, MILDEW is the result of excess moisture affecting precious cargo. Let's overcome this common problem using ABS Inbox desiccant.
Besides these two segments we have many such segments contributing towards India's march towards self-reliance:Handicrafts,Furniture,Coir items,Home decor items, Gems and Jewellery, Brass items,Automobile spare parts,Engineering goods,Electronic equipment,Electrical Accessories....the list is long, but the problem is the same, and the solution is superior moisture absorption Inbox desiccant. ABS “DRY BAG” Inbox Desiccants complies with European standards of REACH, RoHS, DMF Free, Tested & Recommended by SGS & Bureau Veritas.
What is a desiccant?
A desiccant is a product or material that can absorb excess moisture from the air, thus reducing the humidity in a controlled environment and thereby protecting goods from moisture damages.
Physical absorption:Such desiccants absorb moisture physically by trapping the moisture inside its capillaries or its surface, yet the water molecules chemical properties remain unchanged, thus the moisture absorption process is reversible.Typical physical absorption desiccants: Silica Gel
Chemical absorption:Such desiccants absorb moisture and convert the resultant mixture to another substance by changing its chemical properties a process that is irreversible.
Typical chemical absorption desiccant: Calcium Chloride
The most common desiccants in use are Silica gel and Clay which only absorb anywhere between 10% to 35% of their dry weight, whereas ABS Inbox desiccants absorbs up to 250% of it's own weight. This makes ABS extremely cost efficient in comparison to the other type of desiccants. With 2-layers packaging for double protection, it turns moisture into gel, absolutely no liquid leakage. Non-toxic thus Eco-Friendly.
