Employee spotlight: Thomas Friis ?
We are thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Thomas Friis. After an eight-year break from Aboa Mare, he is returning as the new Training Director.
His radar is locked onto expanding our training partnerships with shipping companies all over the world. With his work experience in the shipping business, Thomas has good insights into what shipping companies could develop and improve by training their staff. The demand for top-notch training is on the rise, and Aboa Mare is at the forefront. Our focus on simulation, whether for the bridge or engine, sets us apart in today’s fast-evolving maritime industry.
I’m really happy to be back at Aboa Mare for round two, and I hope to bring new knowledge with me and to be able to share this with students and course participants.
In his spare time, Thomas spends a fair amount of time at his old house in the beautiful archipelago. Renovating the house is a never-ending story, showing his passion and dedication in turning dreams into reality.
We are excited to have Thomas on board again! Join us in welcoming Thomas Friis back to the Aboa Mare crew!
