?Recently, I was having a conversation with a friend who was going through a ruff time. They were facing an overwhelming amount of challenges in life back to back. Recently losing a loved one, were also facing sickness, and facing some major choices in their life. While we were talking, they made the statement, “I don’t know how I’m going to get through this.” There are many times our lives may feel like this. There are so many times when we aren’t just hit with one challenge or difficulty, but many at the same time. It seems that when we turn one way or the other, we are surrounded by the things that would consume us. Remembering the story of Daniel in the Bible and from the beginning he was challenged?by being put in conflict with worldly traditions and expectations or Gods promises and provision. Certainly, Daniel was surrounded in the lion’s den by things that could easily consume him. He was no match for the things that he was facing. When the king came to the den of lions, he asked Daniel a question. Is your God able? I remember having asked that same question to myself daily as Daniel did thousands of years ago. It is thrilling and comforting to know that not only is our God able, but He has done it time and again! From the beginning of time, God has tamed the lions of life that have sought to devour. He has tamed the lion of depression, sickness, sorrow, heartache, loss, and the list goes on and on! When I find myself facing the lions of life, I do not doubt God. For God is able to tame the lions, protecting us and helping us make it through, just like Daniel. While the world may ask, “Is your God able,” face the circumstances with confidence. He has done it before and He will do it again! Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Make it a great day for yourself and someone else as we live to love and share Jesus with others.
?Ephesians 3:20
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
