ABLE Human Motion Spring 2024 Newsletter

Hi ABLE Community!

Let's dive into what’s happened at ABLE Human Motion in the last 3 months!

Company Milestones

We are thrilled to announce a huge milestone: ABLE Human Motion has received the CE Mark certification under MDR for ABLE Exoskeleton for clinical use!??????

This regulatory approval opens a new and exciting phase for the company, as it enables the commercialization of the exoskeleton to hospitals and rehabilitation centers across the European Union, benefiting patients to improve their mobility, health and quality of life.

“This certificate is the culmination of 5 years of effort by an outstanding team of young, talented and passionate people who want to improve people's lives with technology. We have had to overcome many obstacles and challenges along the way, but we never lost sight of our mission: democratizing exoskeleton technology worldwide. And today we are a bit closer for that! On such a special day we want to thank all the hospitals, patients and investors who have believed in us during this journey. Without your support we wouldn't have made it so far!”

Alfons Carnicero, CEO of ABLE Human Motion.

Testimonial

Don’t miss the unique interview with Carlos Tatay, a Spanish motorcycle rider who last competed in the 2023 FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship for the Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team. In July 2023, Carlos suffered multiple injuries, including spinal cord damage, in a serious crash at the Algarve International Circuit.? He will answer questions about his accident, how his rehabilitation is going and how he achieves new goals!

For the first time, I was able to go out and walk down the street, which was something unimaginable. It feels very real, nothing fictional, nothing robotic. [...] I recommend people to try the exoskeleton, even if they can't walk, it is highly recommended for health and quality of life.

Carlos Tatay, Spanish motorcycle rider
