A friend of ours joked the other day that consulting companies have an amazingly simple life.

Because you always have one problem, and one problem only out of two.

First, to figure out and execute how to get new clients.

Then how to line-up and develop the right resources to deliver.

Followed by how to get new clients… an endless loop of simply alternating problems ??

The original joke stopped here, but maybe the situation is very similar for any innovative product.

First, figure out how to get new clients. Then, how to deliver the viable promise - team, technology, competence and culture adaptation.

And we are back yet again to a continuous learning curve, picking up small and big things curiously.

Makes perfect sense in September: Back to the School mindset.
