Here we go into our last leg of what has been a phenomenal trip with our friends at the ABHI US Accelerator journey, inicio health had the opportunity to engage with notable healthcare and business leaders in #Orlando and #Jacksonville (GO JAGS!)

?? Orlando’s Healthcare Innovators

• AdventHealth Celebration: This institution stands as a paragon of integrated health care, harmonising advanced technology with a commitment to holistic wellness. We were struck by their patient-first approach, encompassing not just medical treatment but also emotional well-being - taking in the entire patient journey. Their innovative programs were extensive with some incredible leaps in the world of robotic assisted surgery courtesy Alric Simmonds Jr, MD, FACS, MHCM and colleagues.

• Orlando Health : A titan in the healthcare sector, Orlando Health is celebrated for its state-of-the-art medical facilities and pioneering research initiatives. They have made significant strides in minimally invasive robotic surgery, enhancing recovery times and reducing patient discomfort.

• Very grateful to the leadership team for showcasing their ortho and burns pathways, a beacon of hope, offering novel treatments and compassionate care, and their commitment to community health extends through numerous outreach programs.

• Nemours Children’s Hospital: This facility is a jewel in pediatric healthcare, providing exceptional care for children with complex medical conditions. Their research in pediatric medicine has led to innovative treatments and better management strategies for chronic illnesses in children. Nemours is also at the forefront of using digital health solutions to improve patient experiences and outcomes, making healthcare more accessible and efficient, especially so as we reflect on the work we've done at inicio with Infant Hyperbilirubinemia charting.
• VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER : This center is exemplary in its service to veterans, their approach to veteran care encompasses holistic treatments, including PTSD and trauma recovery programs.

• The center is also a leader in research, developing new therapies and treatments tailored to the unique needs of veterans.

?? Jacksonville’s Healthcare and Business Leaders

• CSI Companies : It was a true highlight to catchup with our friends at CSI and be hosted for a lovely evening by Mike Israel . The synergies between inicio and CSI are multiple and we're excited for the future of this budding partnership....watch this space! CSI excel in providing tailored workforce solutions specifically for the healthcare sector. Their innovative approaches to staffing have been crucial in addressing the challenges of healthcare human resources, particularly in times of increased demand. CSI’s commitment to understanding the unique needs of healthcare providers and delivering customised staffing solutions has made them a valuable partner in the healthcare industry.
• JAX Chamber with Mayor Donna Deegan & Aundra Wallace: This collaboration has catalysed Jacksonville's growth as a hub for health-tech innovation. Their initiatives have been pivotal in connecting technology firms with healthcare providers, fostering an ecosystem where tech-driven solutions can thrive. Their leadership in economic development has not only bolstered the healthcare sector but also enriched the broader community.
• Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital: Renowned for their advanced treatments in physical rehabilitation, Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital has been a pioneer in utilising robotics and AI to aid recovery. Their individualised care plans and cutting-edge research in neurological rehabilitation have set new benchmarks in patient care.

• Seeing the hospital for ourselves, it was clear they are a leader in community education, advocating for better understanding and support for individuals with disabilities.
• Florida Blue with Darnell Smith : Florida Blue shared a great session with us on how they are revolutionising healthcare insurance. Their focus on preventive care and comprehensive health management programs represents a shift towards a more holistic view of health. Florida Blue’s initiatives in community health, mental wellness, and chronic disease management exemplify their commitment to not just treating illness but fostering overall well-being.
• Baptist Health Medical Center Jacksonville with Michael Mayo: Under Michael Mayo’s leadership, Baptist Health has become a cornerstone in the Jacksonville community. Their focus on innovation in medical technology, especially in cardiology and oncology, has significantly enhanced patient care.

• Baptist Health’s commitment to community outreach and health education reinforces their role as a healthcare leader not just in Jacksonville but in the broader region.
• Mayo Clinic: Our final stop on the trip and what a stop! A global leader in medical research, Mayo Clinic’s contributions to medicine are unparalleled. Their groundbreaking work in areas like cancer research, genomic medicine, and regenerative therapies has transformed healthcare.
