Abhay Ki Love Story (Part 7) - The Tale of a Broken Heart!

Naina is gone! The reality finally sunk in. "We will never meet again", were her last words, which kept echoing in Abhay's heart, body and soul. Her behavior had hit him hard. He was deeply hurt.

He was desperately trying to analyze the situation. "Did I do anything wrong?", was the most frequent thought on his mind.

He knew he had to get his feelings out. If not, they would accumulate inside of him and destroy him from the inside-out. He thought about calling few of his closest friends, but then decided against it. "Why disturb them for such a silly & messy situation that I got myself into?" was the  feeling that let him to think of possible alternatives.

He realized that these feelings were extreme and hence needed to be channeled. He could write an article, compose music or poetry or both. He decided to start a poem title 'The Tale of Broken Heart'.

Abhay was in pain. Perhaps as a protective measure, Abhay's body/mind had developed the "Sleep Syndrome". Whenever he felt extreme hurt or pain, his head would ache and he had to go to sleep. Somehow, this has always helped Abhay in coping up with difficult situations. 

When he woke up it was around 3 PM. There were a few messages by Naina, apologizing for her behavior and asking him to take care of himself. He tried not to think of it too much. However, he started questioning himself as well as God. Finally he realized he was being too negative. He still had a lot of things to be grateful for. After about 30 minutes of thinking he realized that rather than thinking about what he may not get in the future (Naina's companionship), he should focus on the memories of his 2 days spent with Naina. No one could ever take that away from him. That thought made him cheer up.

He then called up a couple of friends. Then he called up his friend Annu Singh in Bangalore. He always used to tease Annu saying, "Annu is a female name, then why do you have it?". Annu was his batch-mate and close friend from his engineering college days. He then chatted on Whatsapp with Aishwarya Arora, a girl from Karnal, Haryana. Aishwarya had approached Abhay through facebook for some help and had since become close friends. They used to flirt with each-other but more importantly, helped each other with advises. She told Abhay her story and tried to help him.

Annu Singh on the other hand is a very simpleton fellow. Pure of heart, very helpful and humble. Within minutes of Abhay's call, Annu reached the Hotel Abhay was staying in. Abhay met Annu after 4 years! This cheered him up further. 

Deep in his heart, Abhay thanked God for his wonderful friends and realized that God had already begun healing his broken heart.
