4 年Well put, especially your observation on how departments and agencies will end up lowering standards for applicants as good officers leave. All we have to look at to see that would be the case was the Miami River cops trial after Miami PD lowered hiring standards to fill slots. The result was corruption with police murders and police drug rip-offs.

4 年Well put, especially the observation that the quality of Police applicants will be lowered as departments and agencies attempt to fill positions as many good officers leave. We saw that with the Miami River cops trial when that department lowered standards to fill vacancies. What followed were police murders and drug rip-offs.
