ABC of Marketing
Marketing is a huge word starting from Data Mining to product or service sell.
In other words, Marketing is the step by step procedure starting from data mining, then cold calling, lead generation, setting up of meeting, conversion of prospective customers and finally sell.
Processes Involved in Marketing:
- Business Planning or Business Strategy -It define the aim behind the business. In simple, we can say it define the type of prospective customers, how to reach them, conversion of customers and finally sell.
- Data Mining - It involve the mining or exploring for data with contact details and address.Ways of Data Mining
- Direct Marketing
- Internet Survey
- Exploring for associations or group of companies
- Cold Calling - Main motive of Cold Calling is to filter the relevant data from the database. And set up the meeting for further communication.
- Meeting - The main Purpose of meeting is to take the communication to further level and build the trust factor (in some case). This is the most essential step for closure. If the presentation during first meeting is good, the chances of exposure will increase. It might take several meeting (depend upon customer to customer) to reach to closure.
- Closure - It is the overcome of all the above steps. If all the steps will be fine, then deal must reaches to closure. If not then customer might not be satisfied with some terms. In this case, one should find a diplomatic solution and put direct closure.
