ABC 6 and FOX 28 News Announce the Hire of Nicole Hogensen as News Director
(Columbus, Ohio) WSYX ABC 6 and WSYX 6.3 FOX 28 News are excited to announce the hiring of Nicole Hogensen as their next News Director.?Hogensen returns to Columbus starting March 21, 2022, after spending the past eleven years at WPTV and WFLX in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she has served as Senior News Director since 2016.
“Central Ohio for me feels like home, I love everything that the area has to offer.?This community has always been so kind to me and my family.” said Hogensen.?Nicole is an Ohio native and was born and raised in Akron.?She studied journalism at the Ohio State University and Kent State University.
Hogensen takes over for Jamie Justice who was promoted to Group News Director for Sinclair Television Group after serving as News Director for ABC 6 and FOX 28 since 2014.?
