The most recent report from the Energy Efficiency Movement, entitled “From Insight to Implementation: Business Perspectives on Energy Efficiency Investments” looks at the industry’s energy efficiency investment readiness and compares it against their 2022 survey.
In his article, Tarak Mehta wishes to address two of the barriers found in the report: remaining high costs (53 %) and downtime or disruption (34%). His insights should allow for leaders to make better decisions when it comes to meeting their sustainability and financial targets. Read it now ??
Erich Labuda represented ABB at the International Energy Agency (IEA) conference on Energy Efficiency in Nairobi. With representatives from 70 countries, the conference aimed to accelerate energy efficiency initiatives.
Over the two-day conference, it was great to see that the discussions have now shifted from the “what” to the “how". We all agreed that we want to achieve the objectives set at COP28, so we need to double our efforts in the adoption of energy efficiency to enable it.

On May 21, 2024 the Financial Times published the following Op-Ed: Energy?efficiency?is the fastest, cheapest way to achieve net zero. The Energy Efficiency Movement demonstrated that if four of the ten measures outlined in "The Case for Industrial Energy Efficiency" would be fully implemented it is possible to triple the progress in this time.
