AB Vassilopoulos speeds up on Kifisias Avenue with a new large concept store.

AB Vassilopoulos is opening its new flagship store today in Marousi (34 Kifisias Avenue and Romanou Melodou Street, near the Amarousiou junction). The store, with a surface area of 2,800 sq.m. on a single level, features a fresh aesthetic and new sections with a wide variety of products and digital services, aiming to create a unique shopping experience for each customer. It is modern, presenting the new image of the company.

The development of the store on one level is interesting as it makes the shopping journey easy without limiting the customer's product choices and without feeling lost in a very large store.

After many years, a large store is opening on a road axis like Kifisias Avenue, and with this move, AB Vassilopoulos enters a neighborhood with great commercial importance like the area around the OTE 'Ring'. The store is very close to the Avenue where Sklavenitis has a very large store within the shopping center.

The new AB store was designed based on the company's strategic pillars, developing the following areas of the store:

- Sushi Bar, where fans of Japanese cuisine can enjoy unique creations offered daily by the sushi chef, such as maki, sashimi, and nigiri.

- 'Laiki' which is the fruit and vegetable market at the entrance of the store, offering fresh fruits and vegetables, flanked by cheese and deli sections for authentic and spicy flavors, as well as a delicatessen.

- The butcher shop for select cuts and the Fish Market for daily fresh fish, highlighting freshness with a focus on the unique flavors of our region and trust in exclusive AB products.

- The Bakery & Grab n’ Go, offering puff pastries, snacks, and natural juices, smoothies, and fruit salads prepared on-site. Since the store is located in a busy area, visitors have the opportunity to grab coffee for the road or a snack.

- Armonia, with a refreshed appearance, offers over 1,700 organic products in a wide variety, allowing all customers to make healthy and sustainable choices, such as gluten-free products, suitable for vegans, and environmentally friendly.

- The Cellar, a special and atmospheric space that takes the visitor to the most unique vineyards from every corner of the world. A rich variety of white, red, rosé, semi-sweet wines, as well as sparkling wines and champagnes, await wine enthusiasts.

In addition, the new store offers a wide variety of exclusive products and new innovative brands provided by AB Vassilopoulos, such as Nature’s Promise, Perla, Delicata, which support the protection of the planet to make it sustainable for future generations, and the product line 'AB close to the Greek land' featuring local products from every part of Greece.

The store has digital applications for better customer service, such as 6 automatic checkouts for quick and easy completion of daily purchases, digital signage screens displaying offers and useful product information, news, and services of AB, priority kiosks at service departments to save time, kiosks with information and recipes for specific department products, and AB collect Delivery services for immediate product pickup without waiting.

It also has an external and an underground parking lot with a total of 220 spaces, and also offers electric car charging stations.

The store greatly exceeded its initial budget as the cost of construction skyrocketed due to inflation, reaching a total cost of 12 million euros.
