About 13-14 years ago, one of these bad boyz arrived direct from ‘Danoz-Direct’... I swear It was missing the free set of steak knives we ordered in the first 15 minutes?
At last! my chance to finally get abs… in 10-15 mins a day... in the privacy and comfort of my own home… whilst watching TV... in as little as 4 weeks!
‘This’ was the why the guys on the commercial had ripped abs, and a built upper body and I did not. And now, I had the Golden one-way ticket... Secret 6-pack fast-path… to Ab-town!
I set it at the hardest level and hit it each night after dinner… often gazing up at the clock thinking why is time going so slow!
After 2 weeks, It got easier. But in the mirror, my belly had had not changed a bit. The 3rd week was a struggle… I skipped a few days.
By week 4th, I convinced myself it doesn’t work for me.
That my lack of 'Ab's' situation was one-of-a-kind... and the simple foundations wouldn't work.
The secret was still out there...
8 years later it finally hit me… like a Seagull shitting on my head whilst eating fish and chips at the beach. All the days, weeks, months, years I spent looking, waiting and wishing for a short-cut…
When I could have said "Hi, could you please help me"... to someone who had a like Ab-Swing commercial guys.
OR... At least, got off my ass! stopped smashing half a pack of Arnott's Mint Slices and pack of Sea-Salt Kettle-Chips every afternoon whilst playing PS3.
All I had to do was practise the basic’s, like sticking to a calorie deficit and protein target each day. And hitting small PB’s (‘personal bests’, not peanut butter) in the weekly exercise. Like walking an extra 5 mins, or doing extra push ups etc.
Once I took the red-pill like Neo... I saw the matrix and was no longer trapped in a simulation, bound to the next sexiest marketing trickery.
It became simple… which made it easier… which helped me stick at it (more than 3 weeks). And presto! the body-fat started to vanish… and a fit athletic body revealed (over a realistic time of course).
All the evidence, info, truth was already there… I was too blind to accept and look at it until I got help.
You… or at least someone, may need to hear this:
Stop trying to 'sprint' before you’re a 'competent crawler'.
Some clients have to 'unlearn', to relearn fitness and nutrition. Because they were never taught 'correctly' from the start.
