AB Drought Management

Global TV News at Noon interviewed me on Monday about water demand trends in Alberta over the next decades. You can see the video at https://globalnews.ca/video/10412595/researcher-studies-water-use-trends-as-water-levels-reach-record-lows. Thanks to Vinesh Pratap and the news team at Global TV for inviting me! Water management is a critical topic, and its importance is only growing in Alberta. It's great to see more interest from the public and media :)

Hi Evan, thank you for sharing. In Ottawa we are noticing a decreaing trend in water usage specially in outdoor water demand. In our long range future planning we are considering these trends to design infrastructures. Lets catchup sometime to discuss on this important topic. I would be happy to share what I am doing for City of Ottawa’s Water Master Plan for the ongoing Official Plan.
