Aava De! - an ode to Gujarat’s never-back-down energy!

March 25, 2022 marked a special milestone in our #SeasonOfFirsts.?

Three days before we played our very first match in our debut IPL season, we launched our anthem, “Aava De” - charged with Gujarat’s never-back-down energy.?

‘Aava De’ composed by Dub Sharma and sung by Gujarati folk singer, Aditya Gadhvi, opens with the soul-stirring lines by the late Shri Kavi Narmad, “Jai Jai Garvi Gujarat!”

The idea behind the anthem was to capsulate the energy and philosophy of the Gujarat Titans fused with local flavour. “Aava De” translates to Bring It On!, and speaks volumes about the unstoppable, indomitable and fighting spirit of the franchise.

The visuals of the anthem navigates across the lengths and breadths of the state with pit-stops at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to the vast Rann of Kutch, vibrant scenes of Uttarayan, nook and corners of the small towns and a colourful tapestry of the state that is Gujarat! The song brings together the local and the stars, bridges the gap between them in a bid to showcase that ‘Aava De’ is a sentiment common to everybody representing Gujarat.

Our Titans also make brief appearances throughout the anthem - Captain Hardik Pandya, Rahul Tewatia, Shubman Gill, to name a few.?

Six matches into the league, and the motive of the anthem has never been more befitting as the team has overcome pressure and challenging scenarios, fought back, never backed down, and has managed to race to the top of the standings.?

From the Titans’ camp, we’ve got two words for you: “Aava De!”
