A man long dubbed “The Father of Environmental Justice” by colleagues will be the keynote speaker for one of Alabama A&M University’s (AAMU) many Black History Month programs.
Noted educator, administrator and activist Robert Bullard will speak on the topic, “Black History Is American History,” on Friday, February 25, at 10 a.m. via Zoom at 10 a.m.
Dr. Bullard is an Alabamian and graduate of AAMU who has become a legend in the field of environmental justice over the course of his extensive tenure at Texas Southern University. Dr. Bullard’s presentation is sponsored by the Department of Community and Regional Planning, in conjunction with the Department of Biological & Environmental Sciences.
