The PAL-V Liberty, a FlyDrive vehicle (flying car), has successfully completed its first Periodic Technical Inspection (PTI/APK).?
The PTI is an essential part of ensuring vehicles maintain optimal road safety. Passing the inspection demonstrates the PAL-V Liberty’s reliable performance as a car, while remaining ready to seamlessly transition to an aircraft.
The PTI milestone follows the PAL-V Liberty’s approval as reportedly the first flying vehicle to be road-legal.?
"We are thrilled to announce the successful PTI of the PAL-V Liberty, which underscores our unique capability to design and produce safe, reliable, and sustainable FlyDrive solutions for B2B, B2G and private customers. Four years ago, we made history with our road certification, and today we continue to lead the FlyDrive Mobility solution market globally." - Robert Dingemanse , CEO of PAL-V.
Electra.aero has conducted successful flight demonstrations of its hybrid-electric Ultra Short prototype for military stakeholders.
The demonstrations, held at Marine Corps Air Facility Quantico and at Felker Army Airfield at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Virginia, showcased the aircraft’s dual-use capabilities for logistics operations in austere environments.
The demo flights included takeoffs and landings from grass fields, demonstrating austere operations off-runway without the need for ground support infrastructure.?
"These flight demonstrations mark a significant milestone for Electra as we show the capabilities of the technology in the real-world. Our Ultra Short aircraft make it possible to operate from austere locations previously only reachable by helicopters, with 70 percent lower costs and very quiet operations." - JP Stewart , Vice President and General Manager of Electra.
Gohobby Future Technology has completed the first flight of EHang (NASDAQ: EH) ’s EH216-S eVTOL in Brazil.
After obtaining a CAVE (Experimental Flight Authorization Certificate) from ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency), the company worked on organizing event at Aeroquadra, in the city of Quadra, 170km from S?o Paulo.?
Two flights were carried out during the morning, the first lasting 6 minutes and the second lasting 3 minutes and 20 seconds, and covering a distance of 1km and 800m while the second covered 700m. The flights followed ANAC authorization – without passengers.
