The 2020 Australasian Association of Fire Investigators Training Conference, is proudly being hosted in Rotorua, NZ by the New Zealand Association of Fire Investigators. It will be held during 28-30 October 2020.
They are calling for expressions of interest for speakers willing to present on a subject for 40 minutes. The topics are relating to:
- What climate change means to investigators
- Spontaneous combustion
- A perspective on Global High Risk insurance
- Modern alarm technologies
- Fire engineering
They are also calling for any case studies where scientific testing has been used to demonstrate or prove a hypothesis.
These presentations are not to have been previously presented at another conference nor published in a fire magazine or relevant publication.
We would ask for a precise of the presentation to be sent to [email protected] by no later than 15 December 2019.
Due to the time frame of the conference being three days, not all applications will be able to presented. A selection will be made and the successful applicants advised as soon as possible.
