AAESC Announces the Appointment of Scott Garner as Board Member

Hong Kong, PR China, - The Association of Asian Environmental Services Companies (AAESC) announced today the appointment of Scott Garner to the organization’s Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2020.

Joining the board is Scott Garner JD, MBA, MTax, CPA who will also serve on the New Energy Vehicle Committee, the Greater China Committee, the Finance & Treasury Committee and the Corporate Governance Committee. This appointment brings AAESC’s total board membership to 10.

He brings decades of leadership in key areas, such as finance and accounting, law, manufacturing, strategy implementation, and a depth of knowledge on China, that are vital to our future operations and strategy,” said Anderson Li, AAESC Board Chair. “Scott’s counsel and expertise will bring energy to our board and strengthen AAESC’s commitment to enhancing mission-critical solutions to better serve our members throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Scott Garner currently serves as China Coordinator for the Asia Association of Environmental Professionals (AAEP) and Vice-President Asia-Pacific of the Hi-Vac Corporation. Previously, Mr. Garner was the Director of the Shanghai office of Lehman, Lee & Xu, a top-3 corporate law firm based in Beijing, China. Prior to that role, Mr. Garner held several accounting management positions at E&Y and Georgia-Pacific. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Truman State University, an MBA in international marketing from Thunderbird, an MTax in international taxation from the Georgia State University College of Business, a JD focused on corporate taxation from the Georgia State University College of Law , and is a Certified Public Accountant.
