A1 Digital @ CES 2023
#day0: Our colleagues Martin Sailer and Katarina Palcekova are ready for Las Vegas. Still a bit tired but there are still some hours to get awake until CES 2023 is starting.
#day1: After a long journey and about 23 hours travelling, our team has finally arrived in Las Vegas and is already excited about what awaits them at the world's largest Consumer Electronic Show!
#day1: Martin Sailer and Katarina Palcekova found themself at the imc booth and used the evening for networking. On the 6th of January Martins Panel - about Healthcare IoT - will take place at the imc booth. No worries if you'll miss it: The session will be recorded ;-)
#day1: Martin Sailer discovered this special birdhouse CES : In addition to the classic feeding it also offers the possibility of automated recordings. But wait... Do all the birds must first sign the DSGVO declaration? :-)
While Martin Sailer convinced the birds to sign the DSGVO (just a joke ;-)), Katarina Palcekova found a new way of using make up - just by projecting into the face. Our model Katarina tried already on behalf of A1 Digital:
#day2: Today was the Panel discussion about IoT in healthcare. Together with KORE and KYOCERA AVX Components Corporation , Martin Sailer talked about how IoT solutions are already used in the healthcare Area, and which important areas are to be considered.
At the fare, we visited 7 time world Champion Lewis Hamilton…or, at least close to. He inspired Martin to also race: So he tried the first ever electrical powered, 3-wheeled vehicle. Especially the data Collection via telematics was interesting!
Katarina meanwhile visited Elon Musks Vegas Loop: Teslas in an underground Tube are bringing you from A to B.

If Martin would have lost his bag with all his stuff, he would be lucky to have the robot from Ottonomy there who would bring everything back safely. Thank god, he did not loose it ;-)
#day3: Day 3 @ CES started with electro mobility and dreaming awake ;-)
Martin and Katarina learned, that especially in Japan, they are required to equip their vehicles for transport of children with smart mirrors: they include sensors to detect if still people are in the car. Of course connectivity is a topic here!
Great innovations and a lot of potential in the electrical vehicle charger market! One which especially raised our attention: this is a mobile EV charger to charge up to 3 Teslas from 0 to 100. You can unload it without crane, as it is selfdriving!
VR glases + headphones + gloves +compressor = complete new VR experience. By using 134 actuators to stimulate the skin they can make sure, that the feeling is much more accurate. Especially for training of staff this will be quite important.
#day4: The remaining last day was not very crowded, this allowed Martin Sailer and Katarina Palcekova to have a detailed view on more topics... like autonomous robots for the warehouse:
…or add-ons to a Jaguar for enabling the vehicle for self-driving. Seems a bit strange, with so many sensors on the car. More there are more development ahead to fix this.
After 4 days and many innovations and hot topics @ CES 2023 Martin Sailer and Katarina Palcekova are heading back home with ecxiting insights and learning - but there is always time for one more ride on Teslas "Vegas Loop" :-) Bye Las Vegas!
