Have you played the Yes And, Yes But game in improv?

I had the chance to attend a workshop by The Improv Company where we learnt more about improv through fun theatre games.

Recently, speaking with today made me conclude one thing:

I need to be with one who is a Yes And and not a Yes But. What do I mean?

I have encountered some who are Yes But people. They dim my risk-loving and adventurous light and their fear for spontaneity upset me.

How could we apply this to the business world?

I remember learning in entrepreneurship strategy that we need to map out the suitable business partners that will work in favor of the founder's dilemma and to hire entrepreneurial leaders.

I would believe it works the same in our day to day as well, who we interact with, who are choose to group with and the person who we decide to spend our whole lives with.
