I just read the article by Lt. Gen. John Bradley retired.
I found the Presidential debate lacking in many, many areas. Most sadly, I expected that a debate on the evening before 9/11, the time when all of the planning moved into unstoppable and irreversible motion of the evil events that would take so many lives. Events that would result in the US entrance into Afghanistan and the loss of even more lives...
"That neither candidate called for a moment of silence".
It brought to mind the many dark and lingering issues of politics over policy and policy over people.
