"90210 reboot" and copy editing/proofreading?

So...how am I going to make this improbable rhetorical leap? When a sign such as the above has a glaring error of omission, and there is likely no typewriter or even keyboard to blame, how can we call it a "typo" (typographical error)? The connection to "90210"? Instead we need to call the above by Mrs. (Tori) Dean McDermott's maiden name: "Miss Spelling"!! (OK, did I go too far for too little payoff on that one? Yeah, I thought so!)
