90 days on Linkedin - Highlights
4 months ago, I made the decision that I would post videos for 90 days on Linkedin with the aim of building my own personal brand. The idea was to shift the focus of my Linkedin presence to include more than just my role as a lawyer, introduce my newly formed creative side business to the Linkedin community and to document what I was learning along the way.
My posts were not as consistent as I would have liked. Some posts were just articles or a photo. Sometimes I took breaks when other commitments were getting a bit much or energy levels were low (I also posted two videos labelled Day 22 so really I have 91 days of content creation!). But I got there in the end.
I feel that there has definitely been a shift in my confidence levels. I feel more comfortable presenting in person and in video. And my Linkedin community has grown from 600+ to over 1,200 connections of really high quality people in all different spheres of influence.
In the next couple of posts, I will share:
1. The top 3 things I’ve learnt about Linkedin video in 90 days
2. 4 reasons why you should be posting videos on Linkedin
3. The top 4 tips I would suggest when preparing a video for Linkedin
I do not claim to be an expert but I love to share what I’m learning from others.
In the meantime, below is a list with links to my most memorable posts or the ones which seemed to resonate the most with my community. Enjoy!
