9 Ways To Be A Better Recruiter

As the end of 2017 approaches, I started thinking about how I can be a better recruiter next year. We all want to improve, but sometimes it’s pretty tough to find a few easy things we can implement right away.

So to help out, I’ve put together a list of nine things I have tried throughout my career that have helped me improve and you can try. I know I will definitely be adding them all to my 2018 goals list, too (click the link below).

I feel you missed the most important one that a lot of recruiters desperately need - if your first contact with a candidate is a job posting or a LinkedIn connection request, you are doing it 100% WRONG. That first contact better be a 'Hi, who are you and what are you looking for?' if you don't want to be ignored by candidates -or worse, end up in LinkedIn jail when too many hit the "I don't know this person" button.
