9 Things to Change in 2023

New year's resolution is a fad.
You plan things, set goals, make a to-do list, and GOD knows what. But with all the fireworks and daily grind, you revert to living your life in the same old way.
I’ve made some changes in my lifestyle in 2022. These changes have helped me elevate my life.
If you want to do something productive with your life, make these changes.
1. Go grand on gratitude
Things mess up. People leave. Projects fail. So what? As a human, you are trained to sustain and thrive and try again toward what you want to do.
But no matter what life throws at you, you can remain grateful. Being grateful gives your life something to cling to. Instead of whining about things that you don’t have, you focus on things you already have. And that’s a win-win situation every single day.
Begin your day by writing down ten things you’re grateful for.
2. Quit the job you hate and do something you love
According to finance experts, 2023 will again be a season of recession. So, instead of doing something you hate, find a job you love. Or a better approach is starting a business that excites you.
Apart from a 9–5 job,?choose a side hustle?to make money online. Stop relying on one stream of income. Do freelance. Invest in a business.
3. Stop worrying about what other people think or say about you
What other people say about you is none of your business. Let them talk; let them backbite.
Make 2023 a year of accomplishments and where you’ll put your effort into creating things rather than living your life with regret or worrying about what other people will think.
When people can’t achieve anything themselves, they try to bring others down. They become jealous. But don’t let that thought destroy your mental peace.
Do what feels right for you with the information you have about the situation.
4. Move away from the comfort zone
Greatness cannot be achieved by living in the comfort zone.
To fulfill your dream, do the things that sweat your palms.
If you can think about it, you can achieve it. Think of dreams, goals, and aspirations which you want to achieve and go for them.
There is no right or wrong time to begin something. There is no small success or grand failure.
When you try new things, you’ll fail. Analyze what went wrong. Take it as an opportunity and try again with the latest information.

5. Stop relying on other people and be your biggest supporter
No one will come to pick up the broken pieces of your heart.
Over the years, I’ve learned that you need to be your best supporter. Start appreciating the little things about life. The achievements, the little encounters with strangers, or the good things you did for others. That is how you rebuild yourself.
Don’t rely too much on people. Learn to do things yourself. Take full responsibility for your life. Stop the blame game.
6. Learn to say ‘no.’
Time management is old. Now, it’s energy management. The way you manage your energy will define your success. This means saying ‘no’ to things that people throw at you.
If you can do things easily, do them. If you’re overloaded with work, say ‘no’ without feeling guilty.
In 2023, make it a habit to move away from things that don’t help you. Do something that adds value or something that excites you. Leave everything else.
7. Develop more skills
Regardless of your education, in 2023, you need to learn more things. The more skills you build, the more valuable you’ll become.
ChatGPT?is already making things difficult for artists. If you want to survive, adapt. Learn more skills and add your unique flavor to everything that you produce.
8. Character goes beyond talent
Before this point in time, talented people were appreciated and bowed to. But with social media and access to information, anyone can learn anything.
But people realized that character counts more than talent. The more talented people with negative character will fail, but people with average talent with high character will succeed every single time.

9. Give more time to your family
Work is essential, but make family the top priority.
Because when things go south, work will not give a damn, but your family will always be on your side.
Take time out to vacation with your family every year. Give random gifts to your family. Support your family and do things to make their life easy.
The closing note
End 2022 on a positive note. The year is gone. Bury the bad memories. Take the good ones. And get ready to create more beautiful memories in 2023.
It is up to you. You can either continue living your life as you were in 2022 or step up and get the most out of 2023.
