Do you want to be the best in your field?
Is there room for some improvement?
Want to know how?
Check out the possible mistakes that might be stopping you from becoming extraordinary!
- Lack belief in yourself- Let me ask you, have you ever heard of someone who has achieved great milestones, but doesn’t believe in himself? You know that is not possible. Here is the reason why. This is because you can not pass on inspirational values to others, if you don't believe in your own ability to be successful. Positive affirmations empower your beliefs, which in turn leads to success.
- Copying others- You might think that if you copy the best selling coach and decorate his content with your own hype words, you will reach the same heights. Well, believe it or not, this never works. Develop your own style and innovate new ways of getting things done. However, you may not succeed in the first attempt, but if you’re not ready to fall, you will never be prepared to win.
- Lack vision- Despite what you may have heard, vision is not only limited to your immediate victory. It is much more beyond your thoughts around the day. Visualize where you want to be, when you want that to happen and how you want to feel at that moment when you will impact thousands of lives. Your ability to share this vision with others and help them feel like their own will be the real success.
- Compromising- Now before I go on, I want you to make a promise to yourself that you will never compromise on anything, for anyone. Do not fall into the trap of compromising to pacify a situation that might turn around. In fact, it will take away every possible victory without even catching your attention.
- Using the same program over again- Here is the real truth, you can never find the ultimate success mantra. You end up following a monotonous format which is scattered over the whole content. You should focus on upgrading yourself as per the situation, keep progressing and create multiple directions that can lead you to achieve your goals. Don't get me wrong but when you start believing that you have all the answers that you will have none.
- Depending only on the learning from within your sport- In my experience, I’ve come across clients who want a coach that has the ability to look outside their sport. These days, every field thrives for excellence and achievements. Do not limit yourself to one particular way that worked the last time. Keep seeking insights from every possible source and transform it into your way of coaching.
- Less engagement with potential clients- Here’s the scary part. You want to pitch your success driven coaching to your clients, but you forget to engage with them. Client’s success is the outcome of your performance: more engaging the team, better your results will be. For this reason, it is crucial to understand your target audience. You should know where to market your skills. But better yet, social media presence masters it all.
- Effective conversions- OK, I know what you’re thinking now. You will say that your work will speak for you and you will get the desired conversions one day. I’ve known coaches who are brilliant in their job but when it comes to conversion or lead generation, they fail miserably. Because they are not able to deliver relatable content to their audience. After all, if your content is not relatable, it doesn’t get the desired engagement and you have no audience. No audience means no exposure, means no learning, means no improvement, means no testimonials, means No Client. I could go on and on. For this is a vicious cycle.
- No focus on maximizing your strengths- Last but not least, analyse what your strengths are and enhance it until you become the best at it. Don't emphasize 100% only on improving your weaknesses. It is a good thing to do, but don’t let your strengths fade away for you will end up being mediocre at everything.
And like I said, Do Not Repeat these mistakes, in case you’re making any and believe me, Success is bound to come.!!
