9 Reasons to Create a LinkedIn Page for Your Business

Creating a LinkedIn Page for your business is a free tool to promote your brand, services, products, and more.

Use your page as the voice of your business on LinkedIn.

Just like you have a personal Facebook account and a Business Facebook Page, LinkedIn gives you this option as well.

Regardless of whether you are a B2B or B2C - a LinkedIn Page for your business is an essential asset in your marketing toolbox. #9 alone is reason enough!

1. Promote your Products or Services:

Create posts to highlight your products or services. You can also create up to 10 Showcase Pages. A Showcase Page is a subpage that focuses on a specific aspect of your business.

2. Fill Job Openings:

Post jobs and view profiles. Your page can also be used for potential candidates to find out more about your business. Current employees can list your business in their experience section

3. Drive Traffic to your Website:

Gain followers and leads from LinkedIn by enticing them to find out more about your business.

4. Share YOUR Content:

Repost your blog entries, create offers, give free advice, or share other's articles relevant to your business or brand. Use LinkedIn to share valuable content for your target audience. You can share Photos, Videos, PowerPoints, PDFs, and Word Docs.

5. Find Sharable Content by OTHERS:

Discover content trending with your target audience. The Content Suggestions tab allows admins to discover and share content that is appealing to their member community. This feature creates an easy way for admins to engage with their target audience. Click here for instructions by LinkedIn.

6. Allow Links to your Page via Mentions:

Contacts can mention you and your business in a post. Viewers can click on connection names to navigate to their profiles and business pages. Contacts can Type "@" and then begin typing your name or business name in their post. A list of suggestions will appear.

7. Know Your Audience:

Page Admins can monitor activity with analytics on your updates, followers, and visitors. See which content and topics your followers and audiences are engaging with across LinkedIn to inform your content strategy. (You can even refine these insights by job function, industry, and seniority.)

8. Respond to Relevant Hashtags:

React and comment as your business on hashtag feeds associated with your page. Don't forget to use hashtags in your posts!

9. Secure Your Business Name with a LinkedIn URL:

All Page URLs have the structure linkedin.com/company/[YOUR COMPANY NAME]. You want to have that link for your own business.

Thank you Margaret. I am going to create a page for my Cafe. The tech side is a bit daunting for me, so this really helps. Love what you are doing.
