What would you do if you were given a 9% chance of survival with a pancreatic cancer diagnosis??? That was the case for my friend Summer DeCoste almost 6 years ago in July! She is an inspiration to me and my family and I am honored to join her for the Purple Stride in Richmond, VA on April 27, 2024. We are raising funds and awareness for PanCan.
Summer and I met almost 4 years ago on Clubhouse . We joined in the mission to hold space for those who were intentional with their personal development. We began our journey together asking the question... How to eat an elephant in 21 days??? We believe that is easy to accomplish when we do it one bite at a time. We have touched the lives of many with our daily rooms that we had the first year. We have now scaled back on the number of rooms but our focus is still on personal development. We host rooms addressing hard topics and we conduct book studies. We focus on stretching beyond our limits/or comfort zones.
We are currently doing a study on the book by Julia Cameron, Living the Artist Way. We would love for you to come and join the conversation with us. It is amazing how much I have grown simply by taking pen to paper and writing my thoughts down. I have learned to be a better observer of my thoughts and recognize that I can choose what I want to think. If something doesn't serve me then I can eliminate and begin to take charge of the life that I wanted to live.
We would love to have you join our journey of fundraising and walking. You can connect and help us with this mission . We continue to move forward together encouraging others with our stories and sharing hope and inspiration with others in the world. If you would like to connect with our community on Clubhouse we would love to connect with you.
If you want to dive a little deeper with self development, join us in our masterclass . Being intentional is the first step to changing your story. I have also continued to grow because I realize that I do not have to do it alone. I have learned to get out of my head and align with others so that I do not have to be the obstacle. When I took the step to do something different...then I got different results. If you are ready to do something different but not willing to do it alone then connect with me at [email protected] with COTG in the subject. Thank you so much for your support. Have an amazing weekend ahead. #americassupermom #pancreaticcancer #collaborationovercompetition
