To understand what organizations think about the state of their cybersecurity, whether they are planning to invest more in protection and what is driving their cybersecurity strategies, we commissioned an independent survey of over 500 companies in 9 countries or regions.

We found that...

UK organizations are the most likely to have cyber risk insurance - 90% have some level of insurance, up from 63% last year. For more statistics from the UK click here

In the USA 33% of organizations reported suffering an increase in attacks in the past year, in last year's survey 61% had seen increased attacks in the year prior. For more statistics from the USA click here

In Canada 66% expect investment in cybersecurity to increase - last year it was just 46% expecting bigger budgets. For more statistics from Canada click here

In Brazil - 70% of organizations expect levels of cyber attack to increase. For more statistics from Brazil click here

In India 40% say they are top-performer when it comes to cybersecurity and another 48% say their cyber-readiness is better than average. For more statistics from India click here.

In the Nordics - 34% say privacy regulation such as GDPR is driving their cybersecurity strategy, for 32% it's pressure from customers or investors. For more statistics from the Nordics click here.

Germany was the only country where the biggest proportion of respondents say that executive management post the highest levels of risk to the organization. For more statistics from Germany click here
