865 Night Market Promo Video

I can't believe I just dug this back up! This is a promotional video for the Asian American Association's 865 Night Market that another student and I made back in 2019, and I'm still incredibly proud of it. The night market is a yearly event with AAA where all of the Asian interest clubs on campus come together to celebrate and share their culture with the rest of UTK through food, dance, song, and whatever else you can name. For this particular year, I was on the publicity team - working to try and get the word out however we could. For the most part, we accomplished our goal through social media outreach and handing out a bunch of stickers, but I had the idea to make a short promotional video for the event.

I and some other students worked out the direction we wanted to take the video and then found a day to gather all the shots. I'm not the best at editing, however, and we had to get a different student to help out with that, but she did a wonderful job! Since then, I've been looking into video editing more and have made some other small projects I'm kind of proud of and hopefully if I ever want to do something like this down the line again I'll be ready.
