As a Web3 project, you're either solving a problem or creating one. If you don't understand your target users' challenges, you'll eventually create a problem— dead tokens, unsatisfied users, rug pulls, and more.
Out of the 24,000 tokens listed on CoinGecko since 2014, 14,039 are dead. Trading inactivity is one of the major causes of this death. So, what could cause trading inactivity? Lack of demand for tokens. When a token doesn't solve a real problem, people avoid it like a plague. It's that simple.
When you understand the challenges of your target users, marketing and sales become easy. Why? You now know the best way to approach prospects based on their needs.
Do whatever it takes to understand your audience and the problem you're helping them solve. When you know the problem, ask yourself if it's worth solving. That is, determine the size of the problem in numbers by figuring out how much harm it has or may cause.
If your project isn't solving any significant problem, your marketing win will always be short-lived. Why? The foundation of your project is built around hype. And once the hype is gone, everything crumbles.

1 年The first sentence is so on point, Agathe Laurent Richard. If your project is not solving a problem, it is creating one.
