?? Hello!

Truss work of one of the sports/assembly building was quit fun to do parametric. All the trusses are double truss covering X x Y area and there was one longitudinal truss in-between this truss !

?? This is how i enjoyed generating visual program for parametric structural model.

1. First step first - defined boundary condition for truss.
2. Divided this top & bottom boundary with lines to create truss
3. Copied the truss at x (m) distance to have dual truss.


4. Replicated dual truss as desired distance and numbers as per planner requirement.
5. For purlins, connect top control points of truss
6. Catchy Part: There was need of perpendicular truss connecting existing truss. (Defined it dynamically, so this truss can be shifted anywhere in plan without reprogramming)
7. The internal truss is adapting to the dimension of parent truss (so when we change location of the truss, height of truss will automatically change as per parent truss depth)




8. Geometry in Rhino is ready to bake and use in any structural design software.
