8. Values aligned with vision model

It all starts with being clear of your personal values, the things that matters most to you in work and life. Once you have that clear you can imagine how it looks like and feels if you live them at the fullest.?

This awareness forms the building blocks for a solid foundation for the person you would like to become. Partly you are that person already, and it’s fine to build some ambition in there as well.

Imagine your vision, the person you like to be in a few years from now. Get a clear picture and feeling of how success looks like for you personally. Incorporate in your perfect picture your passions, they will get you in a flow of energy and happiness. And your talents, the things you are good at and that give you energy. Create value to others by just being you.?

Take into account the different roles you have in life. Some values fit in each role; others are more specific for a certain role. For example, if you like to be remembered by your son as a dad who went mountain biking with him after school together, you need to start right now and be home in time from your always demanding job.?Remind a healthy balance between the different roles you have.

Your values are an ever lasting fundament for your vision, your ambitious self, on top as the final destination. Together they form a strong compass that can help you to make the right choices and re-find your balance.?

Take a look at all the goals and actions that consume your time and energy right now. Do a check if they are aligned with your vision and values and will bring you closer to your vision. If not, can you stop them or make a change so they will lead you into the right direction? If so can you increase them? What new goals can you define, what actions will have priority to become the person you like to be?

You are on mission if you spend your time and energy on the things that matter most to you, in a way the person you like to be would do. Be honest to yourself, give yourself some compliments where you are on track and make some changes were needed.
